Rowland was born April 5th 1991 to parents La Rena Lawrence and Rowland Johnson in Los Angeles California. He went home to be with the lord Wednesday December 20th 2017 at the age of 26.
Rowland was a loving father to his son Rowland Dion Lawrence Jr. He is survived by Brothers: Joshua Lawrence and Antione Johnson, Maternal Grandparents: James Jones, Acquanetta Lawrence, and Aurora Vargas, Fraternal Grandmother: Geraldine Thomas, Aunts: La Trice Jones- Lanier, Sherry Jones, and Tiffany Jones. Uncles: Pierre Caslin, and Stephen James Jones, Daryl Johnson, Walter Thomas, Alfrey Maze, Jeffery Maze, Sean Washington, and Jorell Washington, Cousins: Shonda Johnson, and Dre Johnson, and a slew of family and friends.
Rowland was a loving and caring young man, he had an awesome sense of humor and an infectious smile that could light up the night! Rowland always reminded us to relax, smile and enjoy life! He was a lover of music and had what we called an OLD SOUL meaning he loved music, old skool rap, and the real R&B. His favorite foods were seafood, fish, shrimp and Mexican food.
We loved Rowland very much, we are proud of everything he accomplished in his short time here, and are comforted now that he is with the lord. We will miss him greatly more than we can ever put into words.

To my Family:
Don’t grieve for me now I’m free,
I’m following the path
God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turned my head and left it all,
I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work, to play,
Tasks undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at close of day,
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy,
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you sunshine of tomorrow,
My life’s been full,
I savored much,
Good friends, good times,
A loved ones touch,
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief,
Lift up your hearts and share with me,
God wanted me now. He set me free.
